Every year, the closets and cabinets industry selects one design representing each of nine special categories to award a "Top Shelf" designation. Receiving this award indicates that a project is deemed "best in category" by industry analysts and considered to be the most innovative design in the country. It is a great honor to make it to the finals.
Project Description: This custom organization system offers plenty of storage for even the most devoted fashionista. Closet Works implemented a 360 Organizer® in the standard shoe spinner configuration to hold an average of 150 shoes (actual count depends on shoe size). It also includes a furniture style cabinet with drawers. Drawers are configured to resemble a traditional dresser, but the size is custom configured with a shallow depth and greater height to maximize storage in the space. Hanging and shelving space along one wall is covered by doors with large ring style handles like a wardrobe unit, making this dressing room a space most young women would be happy to spend a lot of time in.
This dressing room is a finalist for the small laminate closet under 18 linear feet category. Being nominated for this award is a great honor, as only three closet designs in the country make it to this level.
The winning design will be announced at the Cabinets & Closets Conference and Expo taking place March 23 in Pasadena, CA
