If you are considering installing closets yourself, it is important that you keep in mind the cost of purchasing the product, hauling components home and installing the product. If you measure incorrectly, you are generally stuck with something you may not be able to use. Closet Works handles the entire project for you — from measuring and design, to manufacturing and professional installation. Our products and installations are guaranteed.
For those who are skilled at carpentry and determined to install their own closet system, you can purchase one of our high quality closets from our e-commerce website, Each customer is responsible for their own measuring if you go this route, and custom closets are not returnable. All e-commerce products include printed assembly instructions and shipping is free within the continental United States (Alaska and Hawaii not included).
Many of our closet systems do include doors for the individual sections, but we do not sell a large door for the outside of your closet. If you are seeking this type of service, we have companies that we will happily recommend to you.
We serve the entire Chicago metro area, including Southeastern Wisconsin, Harbor Country Michigan, and Northwestern Indiana. If you think you may not be included in our service area, just give us a call and we will let you know. If you are outside of the Chicago metro area, we can refer you to one of our national network of dealers who sell Closet Works manufactured systems throughout the continental United States.

Closet Works manufactures all of our own closet and organization systems at our headquarters in Elmhurst Illinois. Each system is custom made-to-order at our 60,000 square foot state-of-the-art production facility, meeting the individual clients needs and design specifications. We use only the highest quality materials. Our systems are made in the USA by Closet Works employees and are never subcontracted.
Closet Works, in conjuction with Synchrony Financial, offers a six or twelve month deferred interest Synchrony Bank credit card account to qualified buyers to be used for the purchase of a new Closet Works closet or other organization system. There are no interest charges if the balance is paid in full by the end of the financing period. Eligibility is determined by Synchrony Financial after reviewing your application.
