A Little History

Closet Works was founded in 1987 by our current C.E.O. Mike Carson. Since our humble beginnings offering white laminate closets, we have expanded into a wide range of closet system colors and woodgrains. In addition, we have veneer offerings to provide a full spectrum of products at a wide range of price points. We have also expanded our organizational style beyond the closet and into offices, garages, pantries, and so much more!

Closet Works corporate office and manufacturing facility is located in Elmhurst, IL with showrooms throughout the Chicago area. We maintain 18 full-time design professionals, 18 full-time, fully trained installers, plus all of our shop and office staff.
